The International Land and Forest Tenure Facility is a leading global financial mechanism, working in partnership with Indigenous Peoples, Afro-descendant Peoples and local communities to strengthen their tenure and ability to preserve, protect and enjoy the benefits of their traditional lands, territories and resources.
I was engaged by research and strategic communications agency, Kite Insights, to write Tenure Facility’s annual reports for 2024 and 2025. Each year, the challenge is twofold: to capture the breadth and depth of their partners’ achievements across 19 countries, and to convey the impact of this work to donors and other key stakeholders. From interviews with the Tenure Facility team and partners on the ground, to drafting thought leadership and data gathering, this is a substantial and deeply meaningful ongoing commission.
